ABOUT ME

I have a passion for life, and enjoy exploring new places, ideas and opportunities.  I live with curiosity — for places, ideas, and the conversations that happen when disciplines collide.

The world doesn't sit still, and neither do I. Over three decades across finance, real estate, luxury, media, and the creative industries, I've built a career not by following a single track but by connecting dots others didn't think belonged together. That restlessness has taken me from boardrooms overseeing billions in assets to the back streets of cities most guides overlook — and I've found that the instincts sharpened in one world invariably sharpen the other.

I've never had much patience for convention for its own sake. The stereotypes, the prescribed paths, the comfortable certainties — I'd rather ask the awkward question than settle for the ready-made answer. It's a disposition that has cost me a few detours, but I consider every misstep part of the architecture.

What ties it all together is a deep belief in process: in showing up, doing the work, refining the craft — whether that craft is structuring a fund, composing a photograph, or finding the one trattoria in a Sicilian hill town that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about caponata.

I'm a generalist by nature and by choice. In a world that rewards specialists, I've wagered that breadth — pursued with rigour and genuine passion — is its own kind of expertise.

A true Renaissance Man

I see myself as a modern Renaissance Man, an authentic and passionate world citizen, with a highly sophisticated attitude towards life and business. My interests are broad, including arts, politics, impact business, sartorial lifestyle, philosophy, music, history, and many more.

I consider myself a successful, accomplished professional, combining self-confidence with a great spirit and heart, educated, cultured, and cosmopolitan, always carrying myself through class, fine manners, distinction, and humour, and destined to be an inspiring leader.

I love the taste of espresso on a terrace at 4:00 PM, while still being a fully devoted business person, advisor, and service provider. It’s all about the right (work-life) balance.

I have always been a caring father, and cooking for my family and friends is what I privilege to the maximization of client acquisition meetings.

I travel lots, 150 and more days/ year. I'm into arts (contemporary, photography, street art …) and culture (theatre, concerts, ballet …).
I play electric guitar, read a lot, do sports, and like to cook…
